" Its trees and ponds provide a graceful, peaceful, quiet setting for our home. We can walk its streets comfortably and safely as traffic is almost non-existent except on the one street that accesses The Forest for all of us. We can sit on our deck next to our pond and listen to the rush of water from the waterfall close by. The neighbors are friendly buy provide space when desired. It's a pleasure to have no grass to cut or snow to shovel. We moved in fifteen months ago from a large home we loved while raising five children -- and have never looked back! " From the minute we drove into The Forest we felt like we were driving into paradise. It was as if we were heading to a vacation home up in Northern Michigan.... and yet, we were still close and available to merchants, medical centers, and our family and friends without the drive. "When we first came into this home, the first thing I said was "this looks just like me!" We had built our other home 34 years ago and in those days homes were built like forts. The windows in the villa took my breath away. We both felt as though we were living outside with the rest of nature. There wasn't a person in all of our dealings, either who worked on the house or assisted us in closing on the contract that wasn't just great to us. Since we had 50 trees at our other home, we hated to see Fall come. But now we have such a comfort and an ease knowing that we don't have to rake, fertilize, snowplow, and really don't have to worry about anything. At first, our adult children were really sad we were leaving our old home... until they came here. We all love it now."
